Your mixing what?

In response to today's lab I was impressed and interested by the experiment. The chemicals mixing made sense when the iodine wanted to move to a lower concentration. The Starch and the water acted as the lower concentration as it moved away from the concentrated iodine and water. This chemical reaction caused the starch to turn purple. I was fascinated by this experiment because it demonstrated the mixture of the chemicals and displayed the way the chemical iodine behaves. I can relate this to the cell because the bag only lets what is important into the bag, in this case it was the iodine moving from the highly concentrated iodine. In all I learned how the chemical iodine reacts and behaves. Also learning how I can relate this experiment to the cell. This experiment helped me understand that.
