Toothpick fish

The assignment was to have a group of fish breed and survive and dealing with disasters. The capital G was for green fish and was dominant over all other alleles. The lower case r was for red fish and is recessive. But when mated with a yellow fish there is incomplete dominance and produces a orange fish. The lower case y is for yellow fish and is recessive and mated with red produces an orange fish.
The most common are homozygous green dominant and heterozygous green and red. The most uncommon alleles are yellow and orange fish. The majority of the first generation was green. As go's for the second, third and fourth generations. Also there was a decrease in yellow fish due to algae in the water. The yellow fish were not able to camouflage themselves from predators. The red stayed the same throughout the generations. The orange fish were not always there in all the generations. But the green in the fourth generation suffered from a environmental disaster. Factory waste is dumped into the stream and provides good camouflage for the red, yellow and orange fish but the green fish are easily seen and some eaten but some survive. But if the factory keeps dumping waste the green fish might go extinct. If the red fish decreased in population there would be less orange fish. If the green fish go extinct there will be no dominant allele and only incomplete dominant alleles only producing orange offspring. The green fish generations have six to seven offspring. The red fish have usually one to two offspring each generation. The yellow fish range from one to three offspring and the orange usually have one. The civilization of humans affect the fish generations and affect the production of certain color fish and the population size.
